Description: This feature class includes both bridges maintained by the State of North Dakota or the United States Government, as well as bridges maintained by Williams County. County bridge locations were digitized by hand using a paper map resource showing bridge locations, obtained from the Williams County Highway Department. Attribute information for some of these bridges was created using a shapefile obtained from the North Dakota Department of Transportation. Federal bridge locations were imported from the National Bridge Inventory 2010, created by the Federal Highway Administration, USDOT, and distributed by ESRI. Bridges located within or along the boundaries of Williams County were exported, re-projected to the North Dakota State Plane System, and merged with the County Bridge data.
